In the framework of the Investment Forum “Far East – 2014” which took place in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky city on September 4-5, 2014 FSUE “Rosmorport” and OJSC “Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky Sea Trade Port”, with the participation of Rosmorrechflot and Kamchatka Territory Government, signed the collaboration agreement on design and reconstruction of berths No. 1 and 2 in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky Seaport.
 
The document was signed by Andrey Tarasenko, FSUE “Rosmorport” General Director, and Ivan Kapralov, General Director of OJSC “Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky Sea Trade Port”, and then the agreement was certified by Alexander Davydenko, Rosmorrechflot Head, and Vladimir Ilyukhin, governor of Kamchatka Territory.
 
The agreement defines the order of interaction between the parties at the stage of development of project documentation for reconstruction of berths No. 1 and 2 in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky Seaport, as well as the order of stating the size and funding sources for the implementation of the investment project.
 
It is expected that as the result of the berths’ reconstruction, which is to be performed in 2 stages, the volume of transshipment at them at full development will reach 8 million tons per year.
