Government of Russia Acts on State Regulation of Activities in Seaports Amended
In particular, the Government of Russia decree stipulates that FSUE “Rosmorport” operates with the help of the remaining profits from the usage of the property secured to the enterprise on the basis of economic management rights, from port dues established by the Ministry of Transport of Russia, which are allocated for maintenance and development of a seaport’s infrastructure providing navigation safety, and from other activities, which the enterprise conducts in seaports.
At present FSUE “Rosmorport” is a unitary enterprise based on the right of economic management, which consists of a headquarters and 18 branches located on the territory of 19 subjects of the Russian Federation. More than 6 thousand employees work at the enterprise.
In accordance with the Statute of the enterprise, it has the right to perform 47 permitted types of activities. The main areas of FSUE “Rosmorport” activities are:
• provision of comprehensive infrastructure services connected to ensuring safety of navigation in the seaports water areas and approaches to them;
• provision of different services to vessels in seaports and approaches to them related to the safety of navigation and mooring;
• technical maintenance and development of federal coastal and port infrastructure facilities in seaports, including implementation of the federal target programs in the field of sea transport;
• performance of other works (provision of other services).
Summarizing the results of 2013, the FSUE “Rosmorport” net asset value reached 115.1 billion roubles, the revenue of the enterprise was 17.1 billion roubles, and the net profit made 244.5 million roubles. Last year a part of the FSUE “Rosmorport” profits made in 2012 in the amount of 60.2 million roubles was transferred to the federal budget.
