On 26 April 2014 the Lokomotiv Minor Sports Arena hosted the IV Arena Football Competition “Cup of Mintrans of Russia”, which is a transport industry sports fest.

Teams from the leading Russian transport companies took part in the competition. In accordance with the rules, the arena football competition was divided into two stages. The first stage included a robin tournament, during which the teams played qualification matches in groups, and according to their results were distributed into the two groups of the second stage: Golden PLAY-OFF and Silver PLAY-OFF. During the play-offs the games were played in a knockout format, and in the end each play-off had a winner.

The FSUE “Rosmorport” team had a difficult start. The first games revealed that there were no weak teams in that competition, and that one should fight for victory till the very end. Having lost the first two matches, the team nevertheless showed its grit and will-to-win spirit, and won the rest of the matches in hard and glorious struggle. The FSUE “Rosmorport” arena football team did its best and deserved to win the final match of the Silver PLAY-OFF.
 
The sports fest also included volleyball, tug-of-war, chess, poker, darts, and table tennis competitions, as well as a family sports relay race. The enterprise team took part in all of the competitions.
 
The FSUE “Rosmorport” volleyball team took the second prize in the volleyball tournament.
In was only exhaustion from the arena football and volleyball games that didn’t allow the enterprise team to win the final fight of the tug-of-war competition.
The third prizes in the VIP poker competition and darts competition were taken by Vladimir Kuzivanov and Oksana Chesnokova respectfully representing FSUE “Rosmorport”.
The family of Natalya Eremina represented FSUE “Rosmorport” in the family sports relay race. Mother, father and their daughter got the start of all opponents and won the competition.  
As a result of the total team scoring in all the mentioned competitions the FSUE “Rosmorport” team took the second prize.
It is worth mentioning that a significant contribution to those achievements was made by devoted fans, who ardently supported the FSUE “Rosmorport” team during the competition.
