In accordance with the Rospotrebnadzor order dated 22.01.2014 No. 38 FSUE “Rosmorport” was granted a perpetual license for carrying out of activities in the field of usage of the ionizing radiation sources (generators) (except where used in medical activities) dated 22.01.2014 No. 77.99.15.002.L.000004.01.14.
  
The license was granted to the enterprise for carrying out activities connected with providing services on keeping of the ionizing radiation sources for the luggage and goods examination. According to the license FSUE “Rosmorport” is allowed to use as the radiation sources only X-ray units for the luggage and goods examination, oversize cargo inspection searching units based on the electron accelerators.

Carrying out of this kind of activities was provided to the enterprise by the amendments to the FSUE “Rosmorport” Statute of 2013 necessary for the enterprise to fulfill its duties on providing safety for the port infrastructure facilities secured to it in the Seaport of Sochi protecting them from illegal intrusion, including the period of the Winter Games 2014.
