Transport Week 2013

In Moscow in the period from 2 to 7 December, 2013 Transport Week 2013 was held which is one of the most significant events for the transport community.

This event was held for the seventh time and combined on the single platform more than 2,000 participants including the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation, representatives of the relevant government bodies and business structures. As part of Transport Week 2013 several business, scientific, social and cultural programs, including the VII International Forum “Transport of Russia”, the VII International Exhibition “Transport of Russia” and the IV International Congress “ROAD TRAFFIC RUSSIA 2013” were held.

The subject of discussion in the framework of the event were the ways of attracting investments to the transport sector and key issues concerning the operation of all types of transportation in the Russian Federation.

FSUE “Rosmorport” has taken an active part in this event and has prepared an exhibition space presenting the main investment projects of the enterprise. Moreover, during the planned program FSUE “Rosmorport” has made the following agreements:
- agreement between Rosmorrechflot, FSUE “Rosmorport” and OJSC “Garpromneft” on construction of the arctic transshipment complex of the oil from the Novoportovskoye field, prescribing the construction of a marine terminal with the throughput of 8.5 million tons per year;
- agreement between Rosmorrechflot, FSUE “Rosmorport” and OJSC “SDS-Ugol” on construction of the marine coal transshipment complex with capacity of 20 million tons per year in the area of the Sukhodol Bay, Primorye region;
- agreement between Rosmorrechflot, FSUE “Rosmorport” and CJSC “Gelendgiksky morskoy torgovy port” on construction of the complex of onshore and offshore infrastructure in the Seaport of Gelendzhik;
- agreement between Rosmorrechflot, FSUE “Rosmorport”" and LLC “TEPK” on construction of the specialized terminal of coal cargoes at the Vanino Seaport near the Burny Cape, Khabarovsk region;
- agreement between Rosmorrechflot, FSUE “Rosmorport” and LLC “Port "Vera” on construction of the coal marine terminal with turnover of 20 million tons in the area of the Otkryty Cape, Primorye region.

Also, the Memorandum of Understanding was concluded between FSUE “Rosmorport”, “Korea Western Power Co., Ltd.”, LLC “RT – Globalnye Resursy” and LLC “Port “Vera”. The document establishes the framework and objectives of cooperation for joint development of the project on construction of the coal terminal with a target capacity of 20 million tons of coal per year in the area of the Otkryty Cape in the Primorye region. Operation of the terminal ensures the long-term coal supply to domestic consumers in the Far-East region, as well as foreign partners of the Russian Federation, primarily – in the Asia-Pacific region countries.
