On August 8, 2012 the Merwedegracht cargo vessel arrived at Vladivostok with two catamarans Penguin-32 and Penguin-33 onboard. As it was reported, the catamarans were rented by FSUE “Rosmorport” from Penguin International Ltd. (Singapore), in order to provide marine passenger transportation for the participants of APEC-2012, which will be held at Vladivostok on Russky Island from 5 to 10 September 2012. After port and customs registration the catamarans were set afloat and moored at berth #3 of Vladivostok seaport.

These passenger two-deck vessels were built in China in 2008. Their dimensions are the following: length – 27.67 meters, width – 8.5 meters, draught – 1.5 meters. Passenger capacity of the catamarans reaches 200 people, and their maximum speed is 25 knots.
