Federal Agency for Marine and River Transport has approved the project documentation for Taganrog Bay eastern part safety navigation system reconstruction project that was produced by FSUE “Rosmorport”.

The project provides reconstruction of the seaports of Taganrog and Azov VTS Center, seaport of Taganrog communications control center and radar post alongside with construction of two new radar posts in the Pavlo-Ochakovo spit area and in the Don river estuary. The project realization is aimed to increase the navigation safety level, shipping efficiency, safety life at sea, marine environment protection, and seacoast safeguard in the Taganrog Bay eastern part.

The enterprise is currently runs an open tender № 06-11 for the right of a state contract to reconstruct the appropriate objects stipulated by the project.
