On April 10, FSUE “Rosmorport” summarized progress of the central office and branches for 2023 during a meeting to identify key tasks and activities for 2024 and the medium term until 2026.

The solemn event was attended by Andrey Tarasenko, Head of Rosmorrechflot, Sergey Pylin, General Director of FSUE “Rosmorport” and directors of the enterprise's branches.

The early completion of dredging operations on the Volga-Caspian Sea Shipping Canal, carried out on behalf of Russian President Vladimir Putin, the laying of two new shallow-seated icebreakers - the most powerful in Russia with a low draft, the launch of dual-fuel innovative sea ferries Marshal Rokossovsky and General Chernyakhovsky, as well as the implementation of measures on transferring the first Vessel Traffic Systems (VTS), which are significant objects of critical information infrastructure, to Russian software – these tasks are among the main achievements of FSUE “Rosmorport”, which celebrated the 20th anniversary in 2023.

FSUE Rosmorport continues the successful implementation of measures for the comprehensive protection of the Kerch Strait transport crossing in terms of installing anti-sabotage barriers to protect the surface part of the crossing and ensuring ferry service with the Kaliningrad Region. Over the past year, 1.6 million tons of cargo were transported, including 397 thousand tons of sanctions.

Sergey Pylin, General Director of FSUE “Rosmorport”, presented awards to the branches that showed the highest performance results at the end of last year.

The Astrakhan Branch was recognized as the best branch, awarded with a commemorative award for its achievements, and the North-Eastern Basin Branch was recognized as the best basin branch.

The title of the best icebreaker crew was awarded to the crew of the Novorossiysk vessel of the North-Western Basin Branch. The crew of the Kronshlot self-unloading dredger of the Astrakhan Branch won in the “Best Crew of a Dredging Fleet Vessel” nomination. The crew of the Irbis tugboat of the Sakhalin Branch was awarded a commemorative badge in the “Best Crew of the Auxiliary Fleet Vessel” nomination.

The “Best Maritime Safety Divisions” award for 2023 was presented to the relevant divisions of the North-Eastern Basin Branch. The second place in this nomination went to the Sakhalin Branch and the third to the Azovo-Chernomorsky Basin Branch.

Among the structural divisions of capital construction of FSUE “Rosmorport”, the Construction, Modernization and Repair Service of the Port Infrastructure of the Petropavlovsk Branch was recognized as the winner.

The leader in the “Best Structural Division of Capital Construction (dredging) of FSUE “Rosmorport” nomination was the Dredging Service of the Astrakhan Branch.

Awarding of FSUE “Rosmorport” branches distinguished by the results of the past year is held annually in a solemn atmosphere during the final meeting. This motivates branches to improve their production performance and encourages employees to made new achievements for the benefit of the development of the Russian maritime industry.
