Results of My Port 2020 project competitive selection summed up

The organizing committee of the My Port socially oriented innovation educational project set up on the initiative of FSUE “Rosmorport” summed up the competitive selection results on April 29, 2020. This year over 250 boys and girls have taken part in it.

From March 5 to April 14, 2020 children have performed creative tasks, demonstrating their talents and skills in the field of art, engineering creativity, marine application profile, tourism, regional studies and project activities. Contestants presented a design work, an essay and an interview on the subject “The History of the Great Patriotic War”. The most active children prepared emblems for FSUE “Rosmorport” thematic shifts which will decorate the uniform of future participants in marine application profile programs. Winners of the competitive selection are children at the age of 11-17 years from different regions of the country. These children will take part in the FSUE “Rosmorport” fascinating thematic shifts at the best children’s centers of the country on the coasts of the Black Sea and the Sea of Japan.

On the occasion of the 5th anniversary of the My Port project the programs worked out for the shifts expected to be especially interesting. For the first time children will get practical skills in creating VR-projects, robotic engineering and programming, design drone radio control models of vessels, learn to make up monitoring of the meteorological situation and manufacture nautical instruments. Workshops, merry contests and sailing regattas await for future young sailors.

The FSUE “Rosmorport” thematic shifts will be held at the Artek international children’s center from May 28 to June 18, at the Orlyonok children’s center from June 20 to July 10 and at the Okean children’s center from June 23 to July 14 respectively.
