“Rosmorport. The Distance is not an Obstacle” action held in Makhachkala
Festive events within the action “Rosmorport. The Distance is not an Obstacle” were held in Makhachkala on June 21, 2018.
Employees of the FSUE “Rosmorport” Makhachkala Branch went off aboard two boats to the Caspian Sea to the navigation equipment facility. The participants in the action planted the FSUE “Rosmorport” flag on one of the limiting buoys in the water area of the southernmost of the Russian nonfreezing seaports.
The event involved Director of the Makhachkala Branch Apandi Nurmagomedov, Dagestan’s First Deputy Transport and Road Industry Minister Leonid Lipsits, Adviser to the Dagestani Republic Head Musafendi Velimuradov, JSC “MMTP” Director-General Murat Khidirov. Among honorable guests were Dagestani parliamentarian, Deputy Chairman of the Dagestani People’s Assembly committee for healthcare and social issues, world champion, Olympic silver medalist Magomedkhan Aratsilov.
Before the action started Apandi Nurmagomedov told the honorable guests about the history of the seaport of Makhachkala and the major stages of its formation, and prospects for the development of the port.
The action is held by FSUE “Rosmorport” within the celebrations marking the 15th jubilee of the enterprise. This year is remarkable for the Makhachkala Branch as it marks five years from the start of its operation.
The jubilee events have started since March 13 by rising the flag on the north-westward point of Russia’s mainland – Cape Nemetsky, Rybachy Peninsula. Then the action has been supported by employees of the Azovo-Chernomorsky Basin Branch, the Kaliningrad Directorate of the North-Western Basin Branch and the Sakhalin Branch.
