On May 24, 2018 the Mir sailing ship arrived at the seaport of Bremerhaven to take part in the tall sails festival “SeestadtFest – Landgang Bremerhaven”.

During the mooring, an open board has been organized aboard the FSUE “Rosmorport” training vessel. Visitors of the festival would be able to join the sailing ship. Cadets undergoing training on the Mir will conduct excursions for those who wish, introduce residents and guests of the city to the construction of the frigate and lifestyle on one of the most beautiful and quickest vessels.

The maritime holiday will last till May 27. Visitors of SeeStadtFest will be offered an entertainment program: exhibitions, performances, musical concerts and spectacles, fashion shows and festival of street food.

Jointly with the Mir sailing ship other frigates from different world countries will take part in the event. The colorful firework display will end town festivals. One can observe fireworks on the tower of Weser – one of the highest constructions of the city.
