The Sabetta vessel tracking management system was put into operational testing on December 25, 2017.

VTMS of Sabetta renders information services and services for organizing vessel movement within the boundaries of Section No 1 of the seaport water area, an approach canal and an internal water area of the seaport.

Upon completion of the operational testing period the events are planned to be held to review the onshore facility of Sabetta VTMS for compliance with national and international requirements. VTMS will be operated by the FSUE “Rosmorport” Arkhangelsk Branch.

Navigation safety systems, including coast stations of Sea Area A1 and Sea Area A2 of GMSSB, the NAVTEX coastal station, the GNSS GLONASS/GPS station and VTMS of Sabetta are being built in the course of the construction of facilities of the seaport in the settlement of Sabetta on Yamal Peninsula.
