On August 29, 2017 LLC “Onego Shipyard” signed a contract to build a boat bridge in the Solomennoye residential area, Petrozavodsk.

LLC “Onego Shipyard” became the single contractor that took part in an auction in the electronic format. The auction was carried out by the city mayor's office.

The construction of the bridge will ensure year-round single-band reverse traffic of automobiles, passenger buses and trucks with the full weight of up to 30 tons, as well as pedestrian traffic and admission of small vessels. The technological solutions used during the building of the facility will guarantee its year-round use under the climate conditions of the region. It is planned to start the works in September 2017.

The bridge in Solomennoye is an important transport artery for local residents and tourists. This is the single acceptable route for ambulances, buses and public taxi buses, construction equipment and trucks.
