The International Children Center, Artek, marked the 92^nd anniversary on June 16, 2017.

By long tradition, this holiday a ship calls at the bay of the Artek: in such way sailors of the Black Sea Fleet congratulate the younger generation. This year the Khersones legendary three-master frigate has arrived in Sevastopol for the first time to take part in the celebrations marking the 92^nd anniversary of the center.

By hoisting the sails the sailing ship moved along the sea line of the children center. Young sailors of the Artek children flotilla welcomed the Khersones crew by using semaphore signals. In response from the sailing ship welcomed the children flotilla with three long whistles. At parting the Khersones left for the seaport of Yalta in full sail with universal delirium of the guests of the holiday. The sailing ship will stay in Yalta till June 20, 2017. The city residents can board the sailing ship, meet its captain and the crew, and stand abaft the wheel.

The Artek children center is the major international children center located at the southern coast of Crimea, in Gurzuf Settlement. During this jubilee session, the center has transformed into a historical site where children make fascinating journeys and study the history, customs, traditions, the architecture and nature of the area.
