On May 5, 2017 the Knyaz Vladimir cruise liner arrived in the seaport of Sochi.

At present, the commission consisting of representatives of regulatory and supervisory agencies are carrying out the inspection of the vessel.

The Knyaz Vladimir arrived at the home port upon completion of repair works to the extent of regular inspection by the class society conducted at the Kuzey Star Shipyard, Turkey. Cabins, passenger zones and public spaces of the liner have been renovated. In order to conform to the requirements of Russian standards the works on renovating the global navigation satellite system (GLONASS) have been performed.

The crew and operating personnel will continue preparing the vessel for the first voyage of regular cruise service due to take place on June 11. Technology and comfort of the liner's interior and public areas have been assessed. The quality of interaction of the hotel and restaurant staff has been tested. In addition, a series of works are planned to be done due to the requirements of transportation security.

The set of measures will ensure security and comfort of passengers of regular cruise service during the 2017 navigation.
