FSUE “Rosmorport” Icebreakers Accomplished Escorts in the Gulf of Finland

On April 25, 2017 the accomplishment of the period of icebreaker support was announced and the traffic of small size, leisure and sports sailing ships was allowed in all Russian seaports of the Eastern part of the Gulf of Finland.

14 icebreakers of FSUE “Rosmorport” provided icebreaker support in this area. In total more than two thousands of vessels were escorted by the organization's icebreakers during the icebreaker support period of 2016-2017.

After successful completion of the navigation 4  icebreakers of FSUE “Rosmorport” will take part in the Icebreaker Festival that will be held from April 29 to 30 in Saint-Petersburg. The Festival guests will be able to come on board the vessels and learn detailed information about their history and technical characteristics.

Besides, different cultural events such as cinema festival related to the Arctic Region, shows and concerts will take place in the Lieutenant Shmidt's Quay. Boats waltz will also be performed for the guests in the Neva waters.
