On October 26, 2016 FSUE “Rosmorport” Executive Director Andrey Lavrishchev took part in the meeting on preparation for the period of icebreaking escort of vessels 2016-2017 chaired by the Deputy Head of Rosmorrechflot Yuriy Kostin.

The meeting was attended by Deputy Director of Department of State Policy in the field of Maritime and River Transport of the Ministry of Transport of Russia Andrey Kozlov, workers of the Navigation Safety Department of Rosmorrechflot, Head of FSBI “Northern Sea Route Administration” Dmitry Smirnov, Deputy Head of FSI “Morspassluzhba of Rosmorrechflot” Andrey Aprelenko, Deputy General Director of FSUE “Atomflot” Stanislav Golovinsky, Heads of the Seaports Administrations, as well as representatives of the Russian Chamber of Shipping, PAO “Far Eastern Shipping Company”, PAO “Sovcomflot”, PAO “North-Western Shipping Company” and others.

The meeting participants discussed the readiness of icebreakers for the upcoming period of escorts and their positioning in the frozen seaports of the Russian Federation. Andrey Lavrishchev reported on the readiness of FSUE “Rosmorport” icebreakers for the upcoming navigation.
