The FSUE “Rosmorport” Astrakhan Branch renders to all interested organizations towage services related to mooring operations and other types of vessels relocation in the water areas of the seaports of Astrakhan and Olya, as well as services on marine towing of vessels along the Volga-Caspian Sea Shipping Canal from the seaport of Astrakhan to the Caspian Sea water area –44º30'N north during summer navigation and to the ice edge during winter navigation.
Towage services are rendered by the Astrakhan Branch in accordance with the license for towage with marine transport series MT- 3 No. 000672 dated 27.03.2013, issued by Rostransnadzor.
For rendering towage services, the Astrakhan Branch has 9 vessels which can be used as sea tugboats.

Icebreakers of the Astrakhan Branch are provided as tugs to interested organizations all year round, while the vessels Magomed Gadzhiev, Pyotr Negodov, Lev Tretyakov, RB-45, Agat and MZ-102 are provided as tugs by the branch for towage services only during the summer navigation period, which lasts from April to December.
2. Procedure of rendering towage services
Towage services related to mooring operations and other types of vessels relocation in the water areas of the seaports of Astrakhan and Olya are rendered in accordance with the regulations:
a) Compulsory regulations in the seaport of Astrakhan, approved by Mintrans of Russia Order No. 74 dated 22.03.2012;
b) Compulsory regulations in the seaport of Olya, approved by Mintrans of Russia Order No. 222 dated 11.07.2012,
which establish the rules of vessels towage, limitations in towing, as well as information on the minimum number and power of tugboats for mooring operations:
- in the seaport of Astrakhan;
Services on towage of vessels in the seaports of Astrakhan and Olya, and marine towing of vessels along the Volga-Caspian Sea Shipping Canal and the Caspian Sea water area are rendered by the Astrakhan Branch in accordance with provisions of standard contract for rendering towage services (hereinafter – the Contract).
To conclude the Contract, a customer sends a written application for contract conclusion by fax to the Astrakhan branch: +7 (8512) 58-57-76 or email: mail@ast.rosmorport.ru. The application will be considered within one working day and in the absence of technical restrictions on possibility for rendering the requested services, two copies of the compiled Contract will be sent to the customer for signing. The Contract signed by the customer must be returned to the Astrakhan Branch at: Kapitana Krasnova st., 31, Astrakhan, Astrakhan region, Russia, 414016.
Towage services are rendered by the Astrakhan Branch in accordance with the provisions of the concluded Contract.
