Branch information:

The FSUE "Rosmorport" Far Eastern Basin Branch is one of the major marine enterprises in Primorsky Territory, which carries out its activities in the six seaports. The Far Eastern Basin Branch involves over 1 000 employees. From March 1, 2021, Igor Glukhov, Deputy Director for Navigation Safety of the Far Eastern Basin Branch, was appointed as Acting Director of the branch.

In the seaports under responsibility of the branch, a fifth of all sea cargo of Russia is handled. Over the last 5 years, largely thanks to the active contribution of the branch to the development of infrastructure, the cargo turnover of the seaports of Primorsky Territory increased by almost 30% from 107 million tons to 138 million tons of cargo per year. The Far Eastern Basin Branch shows positive dynamics in terms of income growth, quality of services provided for vessels and ensuring the safety of navigation.

The Far Eastern Basin Branch is actively involved in the implementation of projects for the development of maritime seaport facilities. The development of seaports, coupled with ensuring the safety of navigation, become increasingly important in the pursuit of competitiveness of domestic products, which is especially significant given the priority trade and economic relations between Russia and the countries of the Asia-Pacific region.

For example, a large-scale project for the reconstruction of the "Vostochny Port" JSC coal terminal was successfully completed, coal terminals were built in Sukhodol Bay and Cape Otkrytiy, and at the end of 2020 the reconstruction of the "SC Maliy Port" LLC coal terminal was completed. A lot of attention was paid to the creation of a competitive group of dredging and towing fleets on the basis of the branch.
