Employees of FSUE “Rosmorport” took part in the first interregional open chess championship among teams from the transport sector, which was held at the Special Purpose Garage Museum of the Federal Security Service of Russia in Moscow on August 16.

The enterprise was represented at the competition by Aleksander Lachugin, Deputy Head of the Fuel Department of the Fleet Technical Operations Division, and Andrey Sudaev, Chief Specialist of the Technical Support Department of the Information Technology Division.

“I’ve really enjoyed the tournament, as I have never participated in such competitions live before. I hope that next time I will be able to play for FSUE “Rosmorport” again and compete with my colleagues for top three,” Aleksander Lachugin shared his impressions.

A total of 26 teams registered for the championship, including teams from FSBI "Kanal imeni Moskvy”, SUE “Moskovskiy Metropoliten”, SUE “Mosgortrans”, Central Suburban Passenger Company JSC and other industry enterprises.

The competition was organized by the Department of Transport and Road Infrastructure Development of the City of Moscow and the Sportiko Company. All participants received commemorative gifts from the Department of Transport and Road Infrastructure Development of the City of Moscow.
