FSUE “Rosmorport” maintains its credit rating from Expert RA rating agency at a level ruAAA

The Expert RA rating agency has confirmed the maximum creditworthiness, financial reliability, and stability of FSUE “Rosmorport”, assigning it a rating ruAAA with a stable outlook.

Expert RA notes that the high creditworthiness of FSUE “Rosmorport” is due to a strong assessment of its business profile, low debt levels, a high liquidity ratio, a limited profitability assessment, and a moderately low level of corporate risks.

The enterprise's credit rating was first published in 2018, and since then, it has remained unchanged. “FSUE “Rosmorport” is a strategic, backbone enterprise established in order to carry out the effective development and operation of federal property facilities in the seaports of the Russian Federation and on the approaches to them. The enterprise's development strategy involves the implementation of investment projects aimed at increasing transit cargo traffic through domestic ports, including by increasing port capacity. The enterprise is under the jurisdiction of the Federal Agency for Maritime and Inland Water Transport (Rosmorrechflot), which coordinates its activities from agreement of the development strategy to the approval of the annual program activities,” the agency's summary states.

Expert RA takes into account that the enterprise holds significant systemic importance for the Russian economy, a status derived from FSUE “Rosmorport” being a key organization critical for the country's foreign trade activities.

The agency evaluates the industry’s resilience to external shocks positively. The strong assessment of the enterprise's business profile is also supported by a high level of sales and service diversification, coupled with a lack of dependence on hard-to-replace suppliers due to the nature of its activities.

Currently, FSUE “Rosmorport” has secured funding for its capital expenditures for the upcoming year, indicating a high probability of maintaining its credit rating at the current level over the next 12 months.
