Two employees of FSUE "Rosmorport" have received honorary awards for their personal contributions to the development of the Russian fleet and the ensuring of navigation safety

Captain Vladimir Artamonov of the pilot vessel "Briz" was awarded a state honor for his commitment to navigation safety and exceptional professionalism. The assistant captain of the hydrographic vessel "Luchisty," Vladimir Postrikach, was granted a departmental award from the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation – the badge of honor "Honored Worker of the Maritime Fleet".

Half a century in the navy

Honored Worker of the Maritime Fleet Vladimir Postrikach began his maritime career in 1976 and, over nearly 50 years of maritime practice, has gained extensive experience working on vessels of various types and tonnages, becoming a highly qualified navigator.

Since 2019, Vladimir Postrikach has been working at the FSUE “Rosmorport” North-Western Basin Branch, where he has held positions as watch assistant captain, senior assistant captain, and captain on the company's pilot and hydrographic vessels.

Confidently and quickly navigating complex maritime conditions, Vladimir Postrikach has repeatedly demonstrated excellence and safety in executing intricate sea operations under various hydro-meteorological conditions, ensuring the safety of human lives.

Since June 2024, Vladimir Postrikach has been permanently serving as the watch assistant captain on the hydrographic vessel "Luchisty," whose crew conducts bottom measurements in the waters of the seaport of Big Port of Saint Petersburg. The process of measurement requires meticulous attention and caution, as operations often take place in shallow waters and under strong wave conditions in the Gulf of Finland.

Vladimir Postrikach is highly respected and esteemed among the crew members of the service-support fleet of the branch, readily sharing his valuable experience with younger colleagues.

Captain of the pilot vessel

Captain Vladimir Artamonov of the pilot vessel "Briz" has been awarded a state honor for his contributions to ensuring safe navigation at sea. Since 1987, his entire professional career has been dedicated to the maritime industry.

For his achievements in his work, high professional mastery, and impeccable service, he was recognized in 2002 with a Certificate of Honor from the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation.

Vladimir Artamonov has been with FSUE "Rosmorport" since April 2004. In 2023, considering his extensive experience aboard vessels, he was promoted to the position of captain of the pilot vessel "Briz" at the Azovo-Chernomorsky Basin Branch.

Under Captain Artamonov’s command, the "Briz" provides operational pilotage services for transport vessels in one of the most congested areas currently managed by the company. In the face of unusual situations, he remains composed and quickly makes sound decisions.

Throughout his time at the branch, Vladimir Artamonov has established himself as a highly qualified specialist, a diligent, conscientious, and disciplined worker, as well as a responsible leader. He has earned well-deserved respect among his colleagues and serves as a role model for the new generation of seafarers.

Earlier at a meeting of the Rosmorrechflot Board, Deputy Minister of Transport of Russia Alexander Poshivai congratulated mariners, river transport workers, and port employees on their professional holiday and presented departmental awards to industry workers. Among those honored was Boris Gadzhiyev, captain of the ferry "Marshal Rokossovsky" from the FSUE “Rosmorport” North-Western Basin Branch, who received the Peter Gubonin Medal.
