Rosmorrechflot, FSUE "Rosmorport" and “Ak Bars” Shipbuilding Corporation, JSC signed an agreement on cooperation in shipbuilding

The Federal Maritime and River Transport Agency, FSUE "Rosmorport" and “Ak Bars” Shipbuilding Corporation, JSC plan to combine their efforts and experience in the construction of new vessels and their efficient operation.

The corresponding agreement was signed on June 19 at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum by Andrey Tarasenko, Head of Rosmorrechflot, Sergey Pylin, General Director of FSUE "Rosmorport", and Renat Mistakhov, Director General of “Ak Bars” Shipbuilding Corporation", JSC.

Rosmorrechflot and FSUE "Rosmorport" confirmed their interest in shipbuilding at the facilities of “Ak Bars” Shipbuilding Corporation, JSC. Cooperation in the future will increase the navigation safety level in the water areas of seaports and on the approaches to them and the competitiveness of water transport in Russia. The signed agreement implies the design and construction of large-capacity vessels.

Under the agreement, FSUE "Rosmorport" intends to inform “Ak Bars” Shipbuilding Corporation, JSC about tenders for orders for vessel design and construction. When concluding the agreement, the company, which has the world's largest service and auxiliary fleet of 280 vessels, will provide an opportunity to familiarize itself with existing design solutions applied to its vessels. In turn, the shipbuilders will improve their organization and production management system and apply advanced technologies for this purpose.
