FSUE “Rosmorport” takes part in a ceremony in Alexander Garden dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory Day
Sergey Pylin, General Director of FSUE “Rosmorport”, took part in the ceremony of laying flowers at the Eternal Flame at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and the memorial Hero-Cities and Cities of Military Glory in Alexander Garden on April 28 in the run-up to the celebration of the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War.
The event was traditionally held in Moscow with the participation of Vitaly Savelyev, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, Roman Starovoit, Minister of Transport of the Russian Federation, Andrey Tarasenko, Head of Rosmorrechflot, and Yuri Mikhailov, Chairman of the Council of Maritime and River Fleet Veterans.
The ceremony was also attended by heads of structures subordinate to the Russian Ministry of Transport and Rosmorrechflot, heads of major transport organizations, and industry veterans.
The participants paid tribute to the military feats of the veterans and declared a minute of silence in memory of the victims.
On the same day, representatives of the industry honored the memory of former leaders of the transport complex buried at the Novo-Dyevitchiye Cemetery in Moscow.
