FSUE “Rosmorport” together with Tuapsinsky Morskoy Torgovy Port JSC have completed construction and installation works on the first stage of the project “Reconstruction of facilities: Water area and port turning basin, berth No. 9, berth No. 10 of the seaport of Tuapse”. The works were performed under the federal project “Development of the backbone network of seaports” as part of the national project “Efficient transport system”.

The first stage, providing for the reconstruction of berths No. 9 and No. 10, was carried out via public and private partnership. Permission to put the berths into operation was obtained in April 2025.

In the course of the reconstruction works were performed to reinforce berth structures in order to prevent deformations of berths, as well as to eliminate previously identified defects of their individual structural elements that deteriorated their technical and operational characteristics.

Due to the works performed, the necessary conditions for further dredging in the water area of the seaport of Tuapse, planned within the second stage of the investment project until the end of 2025, have been provided. Upon completion of the dredging works, the berths will be able to accommodate vessels with a draft of up to 13.3 meters. Currently, the allowable draft of vessels at berths is up to 11 m.

Tuapsinsky Morskoy Torgovy Port JSC is the main stevedore operator in the deep-water seaport of Tuapse with year-round navigation. The port handles general cargo, oil and oil products, grain, mineral fertilizers, agricultural products, bulk cargo, etc.
