FSUE “Rosmorport” participates in The Dictation of Victory All-Russian event

For the fourth year in a row, FSUE “Rosmorport” takes part in the “Diktant Pobedy” (The Dictation of Victory) patriotic event. On April 27, more than 160 cadets undergoing navigation practice on the Mir, Nadezhda and Khersones sailing boats, simultaneously wrote a dictation on the events of the Great Patriotic War on board the vessels.

18 cadets of the Federal State-Financed Educational Institution of Higher Education “Admiral Makarov State University of Maritime and Inland Shipping”, head of the practice and a member of the vessel's crew tested their knowledge at the Mir sailing training boat. 40 cadets of the Amur Branch of the Maritime State University named after admiral G.I. Nevelskoy wrote a dictation on the Nadezhda sailing training boat.

The Khersones sailing training boat, which was on the voyage, called at the seaport of Sochi in order to ensure the participation of cadets of the Institute of Water Transport named after G.Y. Sedov and members of the vessel's crew in the dictation, and, after the event, left it on April 27 for another training voyage. 107 people took part in the event.

The Dictation of Victory international event has been held since 2019, it is aimed at improving historical literacy and patriotic education of young people. The number of participants is growing every year. In 2022, more than 1.6 million people in 19 thousand venues in 85 regions of Russia and 45 countries of the world wrote the Dictation of Victory.

This year, the campaign was held in Russia and 46 other countries. The Victory Museum in Moscow has traditionally become the central venue. The main topics of the dictation were the victory of the Red Army in the Battle of Stalingrad and the Battle of Kursk, the liberation of Donbass from the Nazi occupation and the breakthrough of the blockade of Leningrad, this year the dictation also included questions about the Nuremberg trials.
