Khersones sailing ship of the FSUE "Rosmorport" will take part in the VII Big Sevastopol Officer Ball. FSUE "Rosmorport" is the title sponsor of the event. Khersones will moor on floating anchors in the waters of the Sevastopol bay opposite the Mikhailovsky coastal battery.

Every year, more than 2,000 cadets from the country's leading maritime universities, including the Admiral S. O. Makarov State University of Maritime and Inland Shipping, the Admiral F. F. Ushakov State Maritime University, and the Admiral G. I. Nevelskoy Maritime State University, take part in swimming practice on the sailing training and production vessels of the FSUE "Rosmorport"– Khersones, Nadezhda, Mir, and Professor Khlyustin. Sailing ships sail not only to Russian ports, but also European ports. Students also participate in regattas and sea festivals.

Today FSUE "Rosmorport" employs over 600 young specialists. Among the popular specialties in the Navy are ship driver, electrician, ship mechanic, pilot and dredge master. Not only young man work on the ships, but also young women. The fleet of the enterprise exceeds 270 units, 37 of them are diesel-electric icebreakers and icebreaker tugboats. This is the world's largest non-nuclear icebreaker group.
