From 17 till 18 December 2015 года FSUE “Rosmorport” General Director Andrey Tarasenko made a working visit to Makhachkala seaport.

On 17 December he met the management and staff of the branch to discuss issues of Makhachkala Seaport infrastructure development and further prospects to arrange passenger ships port calls. Also the participants of the meeting discussed the progress of repair dredging works at the limiting areas of Makhachkala seaport approach canals.

During the trip Andrey Tarasenko went to Makhachkala Ship Repairing Yard where the Deltovaya-10 and Dektovaya-11 mud boats are being repaired.

In the framework of the trip schedule General Director also inspected a signal post, which had recently been repaired, a VTS tower and a complex for technical supervision over seaport waters. Later he also examined the approach canal, where dredging was in progress at that moment.
