In December 2015 Russian Maritime Register of Shipping examined system for safety of FSUE “Rosmorport” for compliance with International Code on safe use of vessels and pollution control requirements.

After examination FSUE “Rosmorport” obtained Certificate of Compliance valid till 09.12.2020, which proves compliance of the safety control system implemented at the enterprise with international requirements for safe use of vessels and pollution control.

Safety control system was worked out at FSUE “Rosmorport” in 2014 and implemented by order No. 530 dated 12.12.2014. It is a structured and documented system that allows to implement safety policies of the enterprise while utilization of its vessels. Earlier, on the first stage of the system implementation, the enterprise obtained Certificate of Compliance with duration for one year.

Implementation and maintenance of a documented safety control system, approved by the Russian Maritime Register of Shipping, shall contribute to the quality of shipping safety provision, and allow to increase business attractiveness of FSUE “Rosmorport” on the market thanks to services provided by the vessels of the enterprise.

As for 01.07.2015 FSUE “Rosmorport” has at its disposal 259 vessels, including 29 diesel-electrical icebreakers, representing one of the biggest icebreaker fleets in the world.
