On 4 December 2015 at "Transport of Russia", held in Gostiny Dvor, winners of the “Formula of Traffic“ national award were rewarded in a festive atmosphere.

The competition was established in 2014 by Public Council of the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation to promote development of the transport infrastructure and inspire state and proprietary companies to solve issues of the transport industry. The competition was held among companies that operate in the transport industry and constituent entities of the Russian Federation, projects and solutions of which were implemented during 2014 – 2015.

There are two prize projects of FSUE “Rosmorport” at a time. The awarding took place in the presence of the Minister of Transport of the Russian Federation Maksim Sokolov.

FSUE “Rosmorport” was awarded the prize in nomination “Best infrastructure project” for construction of Bronka multifunctional marine cargo complex.

In this project FSUE “Rosmorport” aimed at provision of safe shipping of large-capacity container ships on approaches to the complex. That is why it had carried out the 1^st stage of Saint-Petersburg canal reconstruction, which included creation of approach canal and operational basin in the area of berths of the complex. The implemented work resulted in 27 mln m³ dredging volume. Also under performance of the 1^st stage construction of two leading beacons “Bronka-2” and “Bronka-3” had been finished.

The project stands for a vivid example of partnership between a state and a private company in the marine transport industry and proves that business is interested in investing into large-scale infrastructure projects.

The prize for “Best innovative solution in transport technics” was awarded to FSUE “Rosmorport” for Vladivostok multipurpose diesel-electrical icebreaker of intend use constructed under 21900М project.

The icebreaker is designed to lead large-tonnage vessels, tow and assist vessels in distress, and transportation of cargo. For these purposes Vladivostok has the deck for cargo containers and a crane with carrying capacity of 26 tons. Fuel endurance of the vessels is 40 days. The protected foredeck of the icebreaker is equipped with a helipad.

Vladivostok is the main of three liner diesel-electrical icebreakers with capacity of 18 MW, construction of which is being carried out in accordance with the federal target program “Development of the Russia transport system (2010 – 2020)”. Vladivostok is an icebreaker of a new generation with highly automated equipment and unlimited navigation area. It can go through ice with width of up to 1.5 m.

Total number of applications enrolled to be reviewed by “Formula of Traffic“ commission in 2015 reached the figure 32. Other nominations included: “best solution for passenger transport”, “best solution for logistics” and “best PR activities”.
