Ministry of Transport of Russia, Russian Direct Investment Fund and FSUE “Rosmorport” on 02 October 2015 signed an agreement on cooperation on implementation of the project for the construction and operation of Taman Seaport.

The main goal of the project is to create a new bulk cargo area in Taman Seaport (Krasnodar Region) with the throughput capacity of up to 100 million tons per year offering full range of high-quality cargo handling services.

The project is stipulated by the Transport Strategy of the Russian Federation up to 2030 and presumes partial financing from the federal target program “Development of the Transport System of the Russian Federation (2010-2020)”.
