Deputies for navigation safety of the FSUE “Rosmorport” branches directors met in Vladivostok during 22-24 September under the head of Deputy General Director for Navigation Safety Viktor Vanyukov.

The meeting was also attended by invited representatives of the federal state budgetary establishment “Administration of Seaports in Primorye Territory and Eastern Arctic”, federal autonomous establishment “Russian Sea Register of Shipping” and other organizations.

In the course of presentation of reports by the branches officers, the participants of the meeting discussed a wide range of issues connected to assessment of navigation safety assurance activities and prevention of FSUE “Rosmorport” fleet accidence. Special attention was given to increase of navigation safety level in 2016, implementation of a vessel safety management system at the enterprise, and provision of services on transportation security of seaports waters.

The participants of the meeting also visited the Vladivostok VTS Center, where they found out more about the work of the Far Eastern Basin Branch officers and the possibilities of the engineered transportation security means in Vladivostok Seaport waters.
