FSUE “Rosmorport” General Director Andrey Tarasenko in the framework of his visit to Astrakhan Branch on 13 August met the branch employees to discuss current operational issues. During the meeting he gave a positive assessment of the branch performance.

Andrey Tarasenko also spoke on the prospects of the branch development concerning acquisition and construction of its own dredging fleet.

On the same day Andrey Tarasenko met Governor of the Astrakhan Region Alexander Zhilkin in order to discuss issues of repair dredging works in the waters of the Volga-Caspian Seaway Canal.

In the end of the visit Andrey Tarasenko inspected the progress of repairs at the Dnestr dredger, which is being repaired at the Lotos shipyard.
