A working session chaired by Deputy Minister of Transport of the Russian Federation Viktor Olerskyi dedicated to current issues and future plans of Korsakov Sea Port development took place on 23 June 2015 in Administration building of the Sakhalin Branch in Korsakov Sea Port.

The meeting was attended by Deputy Head of Rosmorrechflot Aleksandre Poshivay, Executive Director of FSUE “Rosmorport” Andrey Lavrishchev, Director of the FSUE “Rosmorport” Sakhalin Branch Vyacheslav Vlasenko, representatives from FSBI “Administration of seaports of Sakhalin, the Kuriles and Kamchatka”, regional and local governments, and representatives from other institutions conducting activities in Korsakov Sea Port.

The meeting participants have discussed in details peculiarities of preparation of project documentation on passenger terminal construction in Korsakov Sea Port and also plans of checkpoints construction. During the meeting issues on assurance of safe navigation in Korsakov Sea Port along with future plans on passenger terminals construction, in particular, the ferry ones in seaports of Sakhalin Region, were discussed as well.
