From 15 to 17 February FSUE "Rosmorport" General Director Andrey Tarasenko made a visit to the United Arab Emirates.

During the visit he met representatives of investment companies, port operators and suppliers of technological equipment for ports, including the largest operator, DP World.

At the meetings FSUE "Rosmorport" presented a number of investment projects aimed at Russian seaports development to their Arab counterparts.

The Arab companies were especially interested to participate in the project for the creation of a dry bulk area in Taman Seaport.

Following the results of the meeting, the parties agreed to continue discussing the projects. In particular, representatives of the Arab companies are going to analyze the Taman project considering the technical, economic and organizational aspects and make their suggestions on potential participation.
