Deputy General Director for Fleet of FSUE “Rosmorport” Sergey Kurov and Deputy General Director for Interaction with Executive Authorities of FSUE “Rosmorport” Vladimir Mochalov made working visits to Murmansk from 3 to 6 December 2014.

During his visit Sergey Kurov checked condition of the Murmansk Branch fleet and assessed its readiness for winter navigation. As the examination showed, Kapitan Dranitsyn ice-breaker, put into operation on 1 December 2014 after its summer repair, was completely ready for pilotage in ice conditions.

Vladimir Mochalov met border control authorities of Federal Security Service in the Murmansk Region. At the meeting the participants discussed the issues related to cooperation between FSUE “Rosmorport” and the border control authorities in the sphere of information interchange on the situation in the Kola Bay basin.

Also within the planned program, on 4 December 2014, Vladimir Mochalov, Sergey Kurov and Director of the FSUE “Rosmorport” Murmansk Branch Vladimir Parkhomenko visited events dedicated to the 55th anniversary of the Russian nuclear fleet. This special occasion took place on board of the first nuclear ice-breaker Lenin.
