On 20 May, 2014 an extended meeting of the Marine Board Presidium under the Government of the Russian Federation was held in the framework of the IV International Forum “Marine Industry of Russia”, which is taking place in Moscow. The FSUE “Rosmorport” General Director Andrey Tarasenko took part in the meeting as a participant of the Marine Board.

The meeting of the Presidium was chaired by Sergey Shishkaryov, First Deputy Head of the Marine Board and Chairman of the Presidium. It was focused on the course of execution of the President of Russia related to its modernization of home civil shipbuilding and the prospects of its development, and also issues of drafting of annual report to the President of Russia “On Comprehensive Assessment of the National Security Conditions of the Russian Federation in the field of Maritime Activities in 2013 and Suggestions on its Provision”. Besides, the members of the Marine Board discussed the necessity to amend the Strategy for Development of Maritime Activities of the Russian Federation up to 2030 with regard to the key performance indicators of its first stage.

In the end of the meeting Sergey Shishkaryov, Chairman of the Presidium presented a letter of gratitude to Andrey Tarasenko for help to arrange and hold the international regatta SCF Blask Sea Tall Ships Regatta – 2014 in the hero-town of Novorossiysk.
