On the 7th of December, 2010 FSUE “Rosmorport” General director I.M. Rusu made a report “On the FSUE “Rosmorport” branch structure reorganization through basin branches creation” at the meeting of Council of Experts at the Federal Agency for Marine and River Transport.

It was noticed during the meeting that the FSUE “Rosmorport” management structure reorganization through the branches enlargement according to basin principle will help to raise the quality of management decisions.

As a result of the FSUE “Rosmorport” management system restructing a set of integrated structure entities will be formed on the regional basis — there will be several basin branches with widened management functions to coordinate the activities of line subdivisions in ports.

Basin branches will be set on the territory principle: North-Western, Northern, Black Sea, Azov, Caspian, Far-Eastern.

Council of Experts approved the projects being realized by FSUE “Rosmorport” and recommended the enterprise to continue the forming of basin branches. The forming of North-Western and Black Sea basin branches is in the final stage now.

The FSUE “Rosmorport” branches consolidation project is also supported by heads of subjects of the Russian Federation on which territories the branches are located.
