On March, 30th, 2010 session of Marine Board at the Government of the Russian Federation was held in Moscow.

Following questions were planned for consideration during the session:
- About geological studies and development of mineral sources of continental shelf of the Russian Federation and World ocean outside of national jurisdiction;
- About measures on maintenance of social security of the Russian seamen working under a foreign flag;
- About consideration of materials of IMO international audit and acceptance of coordinated measures on elimination of the superfluous functions of Federal Service for Nature Management Supervision of the Russian Federation, duplicating activity of administrations of ports on control of maintenance of requirements of protection of the sea environment from pollution by captains of ships.
