On the 6th of December, 2010 within the limits of Russian President Dmitry Medvedev visit to Poland Minister of Transport of Russia Igor Levitin and Minister of Infrastructure of Poland Cezary Grabarczyk signed the Convention on Marine Transport between the Russian Government and the Government of the Republic of Poland, which project was approved by the order of the Government of the Russian Federation dated 02.12.2010 № 2154-р.

With the purposes of friendly relations between the states the above mentioned convention will help to extend the cooperation of the Russian Federation and Republic of Poland in the sphere of marine transport.

For the FSUE “Rosmorport” Kaliningrad branch the convention adoption means more efficient international partnership with Polish marine transport companies in the sphere of marine transportation, ports protection and shipping, environment protection and rescue on sea.
