Congratulations of General Director of FSUE “Rosmorport” on the Shipbuilder's Day
Dear colleagues!
On behalf of the staff of FSUE “Rosmorport” and on my own behalf, I congratulate you on the Shipbuilder's Day!
Since the days of Peter the Great, shipbuilding has played a leading role in Russian industry. The development of the fleet determined the future of our country, which has access to 13 seas and 3 oceans. Today, having inherited the knowledge and experience of two great maritime powers, the Russian Empire and the Soviet Union, we preserve and increase the age-old traditions of the industry. Throughout Russia, shipyards are being revived and built, launching icebreakers, tankers, technical, dry cargo, fishing, and passenger ships.
FSUE “Rosmorport”, one of the largest customers in Russian shipbuilding, is proud that its fleet includes modern domestically produced vessels. Among them are powerful diesel-electric icebreakers, which are built according to advanced designs and can operate not only in the waters of freezing ports, but also on the Northern Sea Route.
In the coming years, the enterprise's fleet will continue to be updated. It will be replenished with 3 more icebreakers, as well as 6 sea and port tugs, 18 dredging and technical fleet vessels, 9 navigation support vessels and 10 other vessels that will be built at Russian shipyards.
On this festive day, I congratulate all the specialists that are in charge of the design and creation of the updated fleet, the repair and modernization of existing vessels.
Thanks to the dedication of shipbuilders – scientists, designers, engineers – domestic shipbuilding finds new paths for development in spite of Western sanctions and increases production.
Please accept my heartfelt gratitude for the demanding and labor-intensive work you have done in recent years! I wish you success in your difficult work, new ideas and the implementation of all plans for the benefit of Russia!
