Minister of Transport of the Russian Federation Roman Starovoit presented Head of FSUE “Rosmorport” Sergey Pylin with a commemorative medal and a letter of thanks for his active participation in the Ministry's Russia on the Move collective exposition at the Russia Expo international exhibition and forum.

The solemn ceremony took place on September 18 as part of the meeting of the Organizing Committee for Exhibition and Fair Activities held at the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation, dedicated to considering issues of preparation for major industry events by the end of this year.

During the meeting, the Head of the Russian Ministry of Transport expressed gratitude to all involved enterprises of the transport complex of the country for their active participation in organizing the work of a truly significant event in the history of the Russian Federation - the Russia Expo international exhibition and forum, held from November 2023 to July 2024 on the territory of VDNH (Exhibition of Achievements of National Economy):

"The pavilion of the Ministry of Transport was deservedly called among the best ones. We have received a lot of positive feedback on the work of our exposition from the organizers of the exhibition and forum and visitors," Roman Starovoit said.

FSUE “Rosmorport” was one of the participants in the collective exposition of the Ministry of Transport of Russia named Russia on the Move. In the “Maritime and Inland Water Transport” pavilion, the enterprise presented its achievements over 20 years of successful work for the benefit of the maritime industry of the country through the presentation of unique models of modern technological vessels that are part of the fleet of FSUE “Rosmorport” - the owner of the world's largest icebreaker fleet and the largest group of dredging fleet in the country.

As part of the business program of the exhibition, FSUE "Rosmorport" organized a number of events, including the solemn ceremony of commissioning of the Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky Vessel Traffic System (VTS). The easternmost VTS in Russia, built in difficult seismic conditions, became the 25th system in the country under the jurisdiction of the enterprise.

To enhance the culture of water transport and the prestige of maritime professions, the enterprise implemented a series of informative lectures and master classes on maritime knotting techniques together with the maritime club “Under Sails”. The participants of the master classes were able not only to join the profession of a sailor and learn the basics of rigging, but also to receive memorable prizes from FSUE “Rosmorport”.

The award presented by the Head of the Russian Ministry of Transport recognized active participation of FSUE “Rosmorport” in the Russia Expo international exhibition and forum.
