Employees of the branches of FSUE “Rosmorport” became participants in the celebrations dedicated to the professional holiday – the Maritime and River Fleet Workers Day.

On July 5, the management of the North-Western Basin Branch took part in the flower laying ceremony at the Monument to “To the sailors and founders of the Russian Fleet” on Petrovskaya Embankment in St. Petersburg, organized by the Maritime Council under the Government of St. Petersburg. Director of the branch Alexander Strelnikov congratulated all the representatives of water transport organizations on their professional holiday, noting the importance of the annual tradition of laying flowers at the monument, glorifying the history of great victories of Russia in the field of formation and development of the Russian fleet.

In continuation of the festive events, a meeting was held in the branch’s administrative building. During the meeting Director of the branch presented awards to distinguished employees for their labor achievements and active long-term conscientious work.

The solemn awarding of the best employees was also held in Murmansk, Makhachkala, Petropavlovsk, Sakhalin, Arkhangelsk, Astrakhan, Crimean Branches and in North-Eastern, Far Eastern and Azovo-Chernomorsky Basin Branches. For their labor achievements 9 representatives of the enterprise's branches were honored with the Gratitude by the Minister of Transport of the Russian Federation,
11 – with a Letter of Gratitude by the Head of Rosmorrechflot, 9 – with the “Honorary Radio Operator” badge, 8 – with the Certificate of Honor of the All-Russian industrial association of employers “Russian Chamber of Shipping”, 26 – with the Certificate of Honor of
FSUE “Rosmorport” and 51 – with the Gratitude by the General Director of
FSUE “Rosmorport”. A number of other employees were awarded certificates of merit and gratitude of Directors of branches, as well as Certificates of Incorporation on the Honor Boards of branches and the central office.

On July 5, on the occasion of the Maritime and River Fleet Workers Day, employees of the Far Eastern Basin Branch took part in a solemn meeting held in the concert hall of the Maritime State University named after Admiral G.I. Nevelskoy. Director of the branch Evgeny Pankratov congratulated employees, presenting industry awards. Several employees also received encouragements from the Vladivostok City Duma and the Legislative Assembly of the Primorsky Territory. At the end of the event, a concert program with the participation of vocalists was organized.

According to the invariable tradition, on July 7, on the Maritime and River Fleet Workers Day, the employees of the branch honored the memory of the heroes of the Great Patriotic War by laying flowers at the Monument to “To the merchant seamen who died in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945”. The musical accompaniment of the events was provided by the orchestra Far Eastern Basin Branch and Maritime State University named after Admiral G.I. Nevelskoy.

The North-Eastern Basin Branch organized a pre-holiday event on June 21 at the regional House of Culture of the village of Vanino, which included a congratulatory speech by Elena Bulanova, Director of the branch, an award ceremony and a festive concert - a performance by a cover band. Representatives of the branch also took part in a reception at the Ministry of Transport and Road Management of the Khabarovsk Territory on July 5, during which two employees of the North-Eastern Basin Branch were awarded. The Director of the branch prepared a congratulatory message which was broadcast at the reception. On the eve of the professional holiday, children of employees of the North-Eastern Basin Branch also prepared video greetings on the Maritime and River Fleet Workers Day.

The Sakhalin Branch celebrated a professional holiday by organizing a cultural mass trip of employees on June 29. As part of the trip, an excursion for children to the military patriotic camp “Patriot” was organized to tell them about life of soldiers during the Great Patriotic War and a sports and intellectual game for adults and children “Sea Voyage”. On July 5, a festive event was held at the branch. During the event the employees were congratulated by Alexander Shraitel, Director of the Sakhalin Branch, who presented individual employees with incentives and awards for their labor achievements and high professionalism.

In addition to the solemn ceremonies of congratulation and awarding of employees of the branch and its departments, a creative and sports program was organized in the Azovo-Chernomorsky Basin Branch. The central office of the branch in Novorossiysk hosted a photo exhibition of works that took part in the competition of the FSUE "Rosmorport" central office, as well as go-kart competitions among the enterprise's employees. The Azov Department of the Azovo-Chernomorsky Basin Branch held a contest "Me and My Family!" among children and grandchildren of the branch's labor union members in the nominations "Best Drawing (Postcard, Poster)", "Creative Craft", and "Photography". Sochi Department, together with the primary trade union organization - the Labor Union of Water Transport Workers of the Russian Federation - organized a sports and recreational event "One Day Tour at the Shakhe Sports and Recreation Complex" for the department employees and their family members.

Solemn events were also held in Sochi on the Khersones sailing training vessel. A solemn raising of the National Flag of the Russian Federation and the flags of flourishing was held on the sailboat. At the solemn ceremony, certificates and gratitudes of the captain of the sailboat were presented to the crew members and the cadets who distinguished themselves during the practice. The cadet team also took part in the military sports competitions "Black Sea Lightning 2024" together with students of the social movement "Young Guard of the Black Sea Fleet" at the Saturn Special Training Center.
