The Minister of Transport of Russia awarded the designers and builders of the Viktor Chernomyrdin icebreaker

In Saint Petersburg, Yevgeny Ditrich, the Russian Minister of Transport presented departmental awards to employees who participated in the engineering and construction of the Viktor Chernomyrdin - the world's largest and most powerful non-nuclear icebreaker.

Representatives of the Rosmorrechflot, the FSUE "Rosmorport", the JSC "Admiralty Shipyards", the JSC "United Shipbuilding Corporation", and the Design Bureau "Vympel" received awards from the Minister.

In particular, the medal "For Merit in the Development of the Russian Transport Complex" was awarded to Vladimir Strambrand, the Assistant to the FSUE "Rosmorport" General Director. The Minister of Transport expressed gratitude to Alexander Alikin, Viktor Savelyev, and Mikhail Shalak, the experts of the Department of Fleet Development and Construction of the FSUE "Rosmorport", as well as to Vasily Subbotin, Project Manager of the Department of Fleet Development and Construction.

Vladislav Vasin, a leading specialist in the Department of Navigation Security and Transport Security Systems of the FSUE "Rosmorport", and Yevgeny Krasnolutsky, the Deputy Head of the Department of Fleet Development and Construction also received the Minister's commendations.

The "Honorary Worker of the Navy" badge was awarded to Yevgeny Makushkin, the Head of the Department of Navigation Safety of Rosmorrechflot, and the gratitude was announced to Maxim Gusarov, the Deputy Head of the Department of Seaport Management and Infrastructure Development.

Several employees of the JSC "Admiralty Shipyards" were noted by the Minister's gratitude. Among them were Alexander Borisov, the Deputy Head of Engineering Center, Sergey Sokolov and Alexander Redkin, the Head and the Senior Master of the site, and Yegor Poverenyi, the shipbuilder.

At the JSC "United Shipbuilding Corporation", awards were given to Anatoly Volkov, the head of the project portfolio of the civil shipbuilding Department, and Andrei Rachin, chief expert of the Department.

Alexander Borodin, design engineer, and Pavel Chudakov, deputy chief designer of the Design Bureau "Vympel", were also given the gratitude.
