FSUE “Rosmorport” plans to add twenty-four new vessels to its fleet in 2020-2022

The fleet of FSUE “Rosmorport” is planned to be replenished with 24 new vessels by 2023: in 2020, it will include 14 more units, in 2021-2022 – 10 more vessels.

Since the beginning of this year, the company's fleet has already been replenished with 10 new vessels. These are five tugs, three small vessels of various classes and two modern pilot boats with a hybrid power plant. By the end of the year, it is planned to receive the already mentioned linear icebreaker with a capacity of 25 MW and two hopper barges. In 2021-2022, it is planned to replenish the enterprise's fleet with two new-generation automobile and railway ferries, five tugs, one hydrographic measuring boat, one multi-functional vessel and one oil garbage collector for floating barriers' installation.

At the moment, the company's fleet consists of 277 vessels.

Repair of the enterprise's fleet for the first half of 2020 has been completed ahead of schedule by 6% from the plan.

The volume of loading and unloading operations in Russian seaports in the first half of 2020 remained at the level of the same period for the previous year and amounted to 410.5 million tons. The number of ship calls in the reporting period decreased by 3.4 thousand units compared to the same period last year, to 97.2 thousand units.

The plan to repair fixed assets in the first half of 2020 was completed by 92%. The plan for repair dredging was exceeded by 11% and amounted to 3.5 million cubic meters of soil with an annual plan of 8.2 million cubic meters.
