Within the efforts aimed at implementing the program of activities and ensuring navigation safety FSUE “Rosmorport” improves and reconstructs the infrastructure of the seaport of Kholmsk.

The enterprise elects a general designer to make corrections to project documentation on a facility “The Reconstruction of Entrance Breakwaters of the Seaport of Kholmsk, Sakhalin Region”.

Project documentation envisages reconstructing the Northern and Southern Breakwaters due to the comprehensive plan for developing the seaport of Kholmsk and the possibility for ferry call of Project CNF11CPD with the length of 131.0 meters, the breadth of 20.32 meters and load draught of 6.6 meters. The project will improve the wave situation in the water area of the seaport and ensure navigation safety.

The projects works should be completed in December 2020. Further construction is scheduled for 2021-2022. The initial price is 18.83 million Rubles. The works will be financed at the expense of FSUE “Rosmorport” own funding.
