On April, 15th, 2010 the FSUE ”Rosmorport” Kaliningrad branch at the enquiry of Immanuel Kant State University of Russia management organized the excursion to the railway ferry complex in Baltiysk (the seaport of Kaliningrad) for the students.

During excursion headed by chief of the railway ferry complex operations service A.N. Moshkov the future experts in the field of the transportations organization and transport management examined capacities of the complex, studied cargo handling technologies, observed railway cars unloading from “Baltiysk” ferry and processing of containers and Ro-Ro cargoes.

According to the university management, acquaintance of students with practical examples of ferry complex functioning will allow them to fix the received knowledge in such disciplines as “freight traffic”, “transport and cargo handling facilities” and can be used in scientific studies.
