The XVII International Exhibition “Transport of Russia” becomes a platform for a number of key events with the participation of FSUE “Rosmorport”
FSUE “Rosmorport” sums up the results of the XVII International Exhibition “Transport of Russia”, which was held from November 14 to 16 in Gostiny Dvor in Moscow.
This year, the central theme of FSUE “Rosmorport” exposition was the implementation of large-scale development works on the Volga-Caspian Sea Shipping Canal (VCSSC) in order to achieve the task set by the President of the Russian Federation – the optimal draft of vessels in 4.5 m, necessary for the development of the international North-South transport corridor, which includes the VCSSC – by the end of 2023. The theme of VCSSC development was also reflected in the enterprise’s installation at the stand of priority projects of the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation.
During the exhibition round of the Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation Mikhail Mishustin, the General Director of FSUE “Rosmorport”, Sergey Pylin, reported to the Prime Minister on the progress of work carried out at the VCSSC, and declared his readiness to ensure a 4.5 m draft of vessels in early December. Sergey Pylin told about the priority projects of the enterprise, including works on the VCSSC, in his interview for RBC for the “Diary” of the “Transport Week-2023”.
With the participation of Mikhail Mishustin, a solemn ceremony of laying the keel of the shallow-seated icebreaker of the 22740M project for FSUE “Rosmorport” was also held at JSC “Onego Shipyard”. The event was broadcast via videoconference at the exhibition exposition of the enterprise.
The “demo day” of the Industrial Competence Center (ICC) “Sea and River Transport”, operating under the chairmanship of Sergey Pylin, was held on the final day of the exhibition. During the “demo day” FSUE “Rosmorport has shown at its stand the software developed within the framework of the ICC, and also held a reporting conference “On the progress of the implementation of ICC projects “Sea and river transport in 2023”. Two pilot projects are being implemented within the framework of the ICC by order of FSUE “Rosmorport” – on completion of domestic software and on replacing foreign software for Sochi VTS and creation of the information system for ensuring pilotage activities. Currently the projects are under development and are already being implemented at the facilities of the enterprise. Sergey Pylin made a report on the results of the work of the ICC. The software development companies, SITRONICS JSC and Intellectica Consulting LLC, presented solutions that will be implemented at the facilities of FSUE “Rosmorport”.
The FSUE “Rosmorport” management also took part in other events of the business program: the plenary discussion “Russia 2023: towards a new transport economy” with the participation of Mikhail Mishustin, the Rosmorrechflot industry conference “Passenger Transportation on Russian river routes: a new impulse for development”. Alexander Leshchikov, Deputy General Director for Security of the FSUE “Rosmorport”, became a participant in the panel discussion “Transport security: resistance to modern threats”.
Throughout the exhibition days, the stand of FSUE “Rosmorport”, designed with the use of modern technologies, attracted a lot of attention of visitors who could not only see models of modern vessels of the enterprise, get acquainted with strategically important projects which are being implemented, but also take branded souvenirs and make Polaroid pictures in the photo zone dedicated to the enterprise’s 20th anniversary.
At the end of the exhibition an evening party was held, and FSUE “Rosmorport” traditionally became its official partner.
