FSUE “Rosmorport” presents its main achievements over 20 years of work for the benefit of the Russian maritime industry at the XVII International Exhibition “Transport of Russia”. The exhibition takes place from November 14 to 16 in Gostiny Dvor in Moscow.

The company traditionally participates in the exhibition as an official partner of the evening event with the construction of its own exposition using modern technologies. Participants and guests of the annual business event will also be able to get acquainted with the achievements of FSUE “Rosmorport” at the stand of priority projects of the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation.

The exhibition exposition of FSUE “Rosmorport” reflects the specifics of the company's work: introduction of innovative technologies within the framework of the tasks of ensuring the safety of navigation, renewal of the service and auxiliary fleet, introduction of autonomous navigation technologies, construction of modern port infrastructure, import substitution of critical information systems that ensure pilotage and uninterrupted operation of vessel traffic control systems.

The central theme of the exposition of FSUE “Rosmorport” is the implementation of large-scale works on the development of the Volga-Caspian Sea Shipping Canal (VCSSC) in order to achieve the task set by the President of the Russian Federation — the optimal draft of vessels of 4.5 m, necessary for the development of the international “North–South” transport corridor, which includes VCSSC, by the end of 2023. For this purpose, the company uses a record number of dredgers on the canal — 17 units.

Stand presents an installation about the development of the VCSSC, within the framework of which a video was presented for the first time. The media content is complemented by the scheme of scooping, as well as models of high-performance vessels involved in the development of the channel: Artemiy Volynsky and Petr Sablin cutter-section dredgers, Kronshlot self-unloading dredger, Silnaya self-propelled hopper barge. Sergey Pylin, General Director of FSUE “Rosmorport”, reported Vitaly Savelyev, Minister of Transport of the Russian Federation, about the progress of work carried out on the canal within the official tour of the exhibition by the delegation of the Ministry of Transport of Russia.

The theme of the development of VCSSC was also reflected in the enterprise installation at the stand of the Ministry of Transport of Russia priority projects. Along with the Marshal Rokossovsky eco-ferry, FSUE “Rosmorport” presented for the first time a model of the newest dredging vessel - the Nikolai Rusanov non-self-propelled milling dredger which is under construction for work at the VCSSC. By the end of 2023, it will replenish the company's fleet. The solemn ceremony of raising the State Flag of the Russian Federation on the vessel will be held in the viedoconference mode at the International Exhibition-Forum “Russia”.

FSUE “Rosmorport”, owner of the largest icebreaking fleet in the world,  presents models of icebreakers of key projects for domestic shipbuilding: Viktor Chernomyrdin of project 22600, the largest and the most powerful icebreaker in the world, and also Novorossiysk, Murmansk and Vladivostok icebreakers of the advanced project 21900M, which have passed ice tests in the Arctic and successfully operating in Russian seaports during winter navigation. A series of videos dedicated to the Viktor Chernomyrdin icebreaker are shown on the screen of the enterprise.

On November 15, a solemn ceremony of laying a new shallow-seated icebreaker at the Onega Shipbuilding and Ship Repair Plant, the second vessel in a series of the most powerful icebreakers in the country with a shallow draft (3.2 m), will take place at the stand of FSUE “Rosmorport” in the videoconference mode.

A special place in the exhibition space is occupied by the Marshal Rokossovsky and General Chernyakhovsky, new dual-fuel eco-ferries, which provide transport accessibility to the Kaliningrad region in conditions of restrictions on the overland transit of a number of goods from the EU countries from 2022. Visitors can see models of innovative vessels and watch videos about their launch on the strategically important line “Ust-Luga Seaport – Kaliningrad Seaport”. In addition to the theme of the development of a modern eco-friendly domestic fleet, the company presents at its own stand a model of the Koporye bilge water removing ship under construction. The commissioning of the vessel will take place within the framework of the exhibition “Russia” in the videoconfrence mode in December 2023.

On November 16, the “demo day” of the Industrial Competence Center “Sea and River Transport” will be held at the stand of FSUE “Rosmorport”. FSUE "Rosmorport" will demonstrate software developed and implemented by order of the enterprise and aimed at ensuring navigation safety in modern conditions: the system for processing the display and registration of information of the SeaTraffic VTS, the layout of the SMR-X coastal radar station and the “Lotsman” automated workplace. On the same day, within the framework of the “demo day”, a reporting conference “On the progress of the implementation of the projects of the “Sea and River Transport in 2023” ICC will be held at the exhibition site.
