“Partnership with Okskaya Shipyard in an advanced project for the industry is a logical extension of our long–term successful cooperation. While working on this order, the shipyard proved once again that, despite external challenges, the experience accumulated over the years, as well as the professionalism of the team of shipbuilders allowed to ensure timely execution of the contract at a high level,” said Vasily Strugov, who delivered a speech at the ceremony.

He also thanked the shipyard employees for their responsible approach to the construction of reliable vessels for the needs of the enterprise using advanced technologies and modern work style.

The main purpose of the BWR is the collection of oily waters from vessels, their sedimentation, separation with pumping of oil products into the oil residue tank and delivery of oil residue ashore to a storage, separated clean water - ashore or overboard in authorized areas, as well as collection of sewage and garbage from vessels with their transportation and delivery to onshore treatment facilities.

With appropriate further equipment, the vessel can be used as an auxiliary transport to deliver Oil Spill Response oil-gathering equipment and booms to the oil spill site (outside the accidental spill area). The BWR provides an innovative oil spill search system based on the processing and analysis of data received from a standard radar station using additional software.
